I had lucid dreams in the weeks between my application submission and actually getting fitted with Google Glass. But for the most part they involved me dealing with the social awkwardness of talking to a computer on my face. I'm still trying to get over this now (#firstworldproblems), because I believe that this device can seriously empower individuals. And maybe even solve some #not-so-firstworldproblems.
In my free time I'm working on Glassware that will change the way that people look at food labels. People should be able to make food choices with information that is presented with their needs in mind, not a food company's.
Packaging can be deceptive, and I want people to see what they want and need to see, whether it be information on healthiness, environmental impact, GMO content, allergens, or dietary restrictions.
