While trying to figure out a topic for my senior thesis I somewhat stumbled into becoming passionate about food justice. I don't believe that politics are going to solve the huge public health issues we face soon enough. I might be impatient but I believe that we have the technology to solve these major problems already. I just need a little bit of help.

There still is a bit of a disconnect between how I view public health and dietary issues, and how I personally eat at home. While I am very conscious of what goes into my body, I still binge on sugar and sodium like no other.

In the last month I've realised that the key is not to try and change something that doesn't want to. Stopping snacking isn't going to happen. But if I focus my snacking effort somewhere else, I find myself eating a lot healthier.
